Welcome to Our New Feature: The Enterprise Blog

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Visit American.com’s latest feature, The Enterprise Blog, bringing you practical wisdom several times a day.

Dear American.com Readers:

At The American we are committed to providing a valuable and rewarding experience for our visitors. To that end we have big plans for the coming year.

To kick things off, today we are launching a brand new feature, The Enterprise Blog, that will feature analysis, commentary, discussion, and debate from many of the nation’s leading experts in economics, foreign affairs, and social policy at the American Enterprise Institute. Please visit blog.american.com and bookmark the page to check in several times throughout the day. Or click on our RSS feed to access the blog through your reader.

In just the first few hours we featured insights on the Pakistani nukes question, global warming charades, the auto bailout, and more. It’s a rich and exciting mix and we have more planned for the future. Don’t hesitate to email our scholars and experts to let them know what you think. Just click on the link that says ‘Email to Author’ after each blog post.

And you can look forward to further improvements to the blog in the coming weeks, including an ‘Email Posts’ function, highlights from IranTracker.org, and an updated front page at American.com that incorporates blog authors and headlines.

In addition, American.com will be adding audio, video, and other multimedia as well as continuing to publish substantive essays of lasting significance. In recent months, essays from Daron Acemoglu, Alex Pollock, Jerry Muller, Jim DeLong, Charles Murray, Roger Sandall, Sally Satel, and others have received widespread attention in the blogosphere and elite media, including Arts and Letters Daily, the New York Times, RealClearMarkets, Instapundit, and other publications. Expect more such essays in the future.

In the meantime, take a look around at The Enterprise Blog and don’t hesitate to email me and let me know what you think.
