On seven occasions since December 1992, NBC News and The Wall Street Journal have asked Americans whether Hillary Clinton is a positive role model for American women. In 1992, 66 percent said she was. Her low mark came in June 2000, when only 44 percent said she was a positive role model, compared to 50 percent who said she was not.
