When Fox News/Opinion Dynamics asked Americans in December who they believed would be the next president, a plurality (33 percent) said Hillary Clinton, 13 percent said Barack Obama, and only 5 percent said John McCain (7 percent said Rudy Giuliani). But according to the pollsters' mid-March survey, those numbers have changed dramatically. Just 18 percent of Americans now expect Clinton to be the next president, while 26 percent say Obama and 35 percent say John McCain. Source: Fox News/Opinion Dynamics, latest that of March 2008.
